Affordable home remedies or supplements for a cat with hyperesthesia?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 11 years and 3 months old | 18 lbs

Pretty sure my cat has hyperesthesia . I heard krill oil might help.i have ordered some and waiting for it to get here I know it is not a food allergy. Do you have any other "home" remedies. I can not afford to take her to the vet. I know there will be a bunch of blood tests and such. Thank you so much for your time Liz

Calming supplements containing typtophan and b vitamins such as kalm aid can be very helpful in such cases, as can acupuncture although in many cases we do not know the exact cause, any relief of symptoms is positive
