My pet's old injury stump gets sore. How can I provide relief?

Mannu was involved in a love triangle some time back. He lost the front two toes on his right foot from a Mccaw . he heald well but i find that when he wants to get active his Stump gets sore. Is there something i can use to give him relief of a sore stump

If the injury has never been treated there might still be an infection going on and he might need a course of antibiotics. If it has healed nicely and doesn't seem swollen or infected then the main issue is pain and that can be long lasting or even for life, for such a condition he will need Metacam syrup (anti inflammatory pain killer), you will need to take him to the vet in order to get it, he will also show you how to give it properly.
