My dog has a cut. How long to heal and prevent licking/infection?

Bear has a cut on her wrist. I am wondering how long it should take to heal. I've been keeping it bandaged to keep infection out and to keep her from licking it.

It should take 7-10 days to heal if is doesn't become infected. You can put an Ecollar on her to keep Bear from licking at it. Monitor the cut for signs of infection, which include swelling, redness, warmth to the touch, and pus. If you see any of those signs, I would take her into the vet as she will need antibiotics.
