My puppy ate a busy bone. Should I worry if he isn't showing symptoms?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 29 days old | 22 lbs

My puppy just ate an entire busy bone over the course of 2 hours. I've been reading all the horror stories online about busy bones and now I am super concerned. He isn't showing any bad symptoms I just want to do what I need to if I need to do anything?

I can understand being concerned, but there's nothing you need to do at the moment except monitor Zeus. If you do see any diarrhea, vomiting, anorexia, lethargy, or constipation, it could be that the busy bone has caused an obstruction. At that point, you will need to take him into the vet right away. Hopefully, he will be just fine.
