Why is my Staffie losing hair behind and in front of his ears?

Pet's info: Dog | Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Male | 3 years and 3 months old | 130 lbs

I have an Irish staffie and he's going bald at the back of his ears and a bit at the front is this common or should I be worried ? Kind regards

The front and base of the back can go slightly bald, that is normal, anything else might not be. It could be due to an ear condition or a skin condition (e.g. Mites) and in that case I would recommend to have it checked by your vet.
