Why is my cat sleeping all day, not eating, and losing teeth?

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | unneutered | 6 lbs

My cat is sleeping all day and not eating. He had two teeth fell off and one was bleeding and swollen. Took him to the vet and the blood work for pancreatic disease was negative. Also feline leukemia and heart warms also were negative. What is wrong with him the cet told me that she does not know the problem and she told me to wait

Poor Leo! It is likely he has serious periodontal disease if he lost teeth. Dental disease can affect appetite because it simply hurts when he eats. There could also be infection and inflammation compounding the problem. Have Leo rechecked by your vet (or a different vet) and ask him/her to do an oral exam. Leo may need a dental cleaning and could have more teeth extracted if necessary. This will require general anesthesia and dental xrays. Discuss treatment options and the procedure with the veterinarian.,
