There is a red bump on my dogs back around his butt and it looks like something bit him maybe but we aren't very sure it has puss coming out of it he has been scratching at the spot for about 3 days but we just noticed the spot it is a hard spot and he seems in a lot of pain we don't know if it could be a cyst of a tumor but he is very tired and calm when usually he isn't

If there is pus coming out of it, I would be inclined to think that this bump on Bear is an abscess. It would cause him pain, and also cause him to be lethargy. I would take him into a vet either now or first thing in the morning to have this bump examined. If it is an abscess, it will need to be drained and flushed sterilely, and he will need antibiotics to treat the infection.
