Dog's neck swollen after choke chain overnight: What should I do?

We bought a choke chain for our dog which is stainless steel and gold plated. She wore it over night and wok up with a hug mass that goes from her chin to her chest. It has been 24 hours since we removed the chain and the mass keep moving - has decreased somewhat in size. Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 5 years and 11 months old | 105 lbs

Your dog either had a reaction to the metal or the chain was too tight or got hung up somewhere making it too tight ,overnight. If the swelling keeps going down you likely will not have to take her to a vet, however if there are wounds, if the skin oozes, or if this swelling is hot and painful or causes Athena breathing problems, you will need to take her to an ER. DO not put this type of chain on her again.
