Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 7 years old | 22 lbs
My dog is 7 years old and she just stopped bleeding. She is in heat but lately I have seen a white discharge from her vulva, and she is licking frequently in that area. She does not have any other symptoms. After a brief search on the internet I came across something named pyometra. Can you give me any advice. She had a pregnancy the last spring. She is not sterilized.

Generally speaking, a dog Cleo's age is in high risk for developing Pyometra (uterine infection). The white discharge could be a sign that it is starting. I would strongly recommend having her spayed ASAP before it develops into something that is life threatening.
