What causes sudden weight loss and weakness in a 4-month kitten?

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 3 months and 2 days old | 5 lbs

I have a 4 month old kitten and she has had a dramatic loss of weight in one day I had to go out of town for a day her weight was really good but when I got home I noticed that her ribs are showing and that she is having trouble walking, so I was wondering what could of caused this

Many things can cause lost weight in kittens, for example- intestinal worms, gastrointestinal disease, IBD, infections, liver disease and pancreatic disease. You need to take her to the vet in order to get it checked ASAP.
