Why did my friend's dog pass away suddenly with no obvious cause?

A friends dog just passed away and there didn t seem to be a cause for it? She hasn t eaten last night and today she peed herself in the house (very uncharacteristic of her) she wouldn t go outside and she started breathing heavy and then she just, layed down and died. I dont know why? If anyone can tell me please! Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | unspayed | 5 years and 11 months old

I'm sorry to hear that but these are very general symptoms of organ failure so I couldn't tell you what could have possibly caused that, it could be pretty much anything, from an internal disease to an intoxication.
