My 10-month-old dog has black scabs on ears. Could it be mange?

hi my dog's name is gizmo fox and he is a male he is 10 months old he has black crusty like scabs on the tips of both of his ears me and my looked up mange but it did not look like he had but we are not sure exactly so can you please help me out thank you so very much

Gizmo Fox is a great name! Sarcoptic mange or "scabies" is a primary concern especially if he is scratching. If so, follow up with your veterinarian to discuss treatment which is usually oral medication and medicated shampoo.
