Why is my 6-month Golden Retriever having bloody stool & hip pain?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 6 months and 1 day old

I have a 6 month old male golden retriever..he is vaccinated and dewormed..we noticed moderate amt of blood in stool few days back..he got treated with topical antiobiotics and recovered..today morning he again had loose stool with streaks of blood..he has been having difficulty sitting or standing...but walks fine..his excitement on seeing food has decreased..but he is eating and drinking well and passing urine..we did notice few ticks on him few days back..

Take a stool sample to your vet for testing. Parasites such as coccidia and giardia are not treated with a general dewormer and require a specific medication. Your vet should also palapte his hips and possibly take an xray to determine why he is having problems sitting or standing. He could have hip dysplasia or another orthopedic issue. Hope he feels better soon.
