Why is my 5-month-old kitten limping, lethargic, and matted?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 10 months old | 3 lbs

Young kitten, 5 months old, limping all the time on different paws, bad breath/smell, fur matted on paws and tail, lethargic. Still eats and drinks and uses litter box. Doesn't play, just sleeps and mops around

Your kitten needs to be seen by a veterinarian. This sounds like a chronic infection which needs to be addressed. Matted fur is a sign of the cat not grooming itself and not playing is also a sign of not being well. This is not going to go away by itself. Please take your kitten to a vet tomorrow morning.
