My dog threw up a skinny white-ish worm but I have not seen any in his poop or any other worms. Does he definitely have worms if he threw one up? Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 10 months and 28 days old | 20 lbs

Yes, it sounds like Opie definitely has worms - the long, skinny worm that you saw was probably a roundworm. These parasites are very common in young dogs - most of the time, you won't actually see them in the stool but your vet can diagnose them with a decal exam under the microscope. You can get a broad spectrum dewormer like Strongid or Panacur over the counter that will get rid of the worms, or get medication from your vet if you prefer.
