Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Schnauzer | Female | spayed | 8 years old | 12 lbs
My schnauzer girl died few hours after her first chemotherapy. I was told the success rate for chemo is 85% and could stop anytime if it's not working on her well but I have never been told that could be fatal now I'm very much regretted. What could possibly caused her death?

I'm so sorry to hear that! It's possible that she may have had a severe allergic reaction to the medication - it's very rare for a dog to die so suddenly after a dose of any chemotherapy drug, so it's hard to say if there was anything else that may have caused it. I would recommend talking with the veterinarian who was treating her about your concerns, as he/she would be in a better position to say what may have happened.
