Pregnant cat adopted kittens. What to do for her own safe litter?

hello. i have a heavily pregnant cat whom thinks that my other cats kittens (6 weeks old) are hers what does this mean for the kittens she is carrying and what should i do?

I would move your heavily pregnant cat to her own room away from the kittens so she can focus exclusively on her kittens. I'd place her in her own room with her own food, water, litter box, and whelping box.

    I'm sorry that your cat's last litter did not make it. I would try to encourage her to have the kittens in an area that is clean, where she is comfortable, and you can monitor the kittens. If you could set up a box or kiddy pool with some blankets in your garage or laundry room (if she normally comes inside) and maybe she will choose that area to have the kittens. I would try to not let her free roam right now as she may choose an undesirable place to have the kittens. Finally, just know that it could have been a virus or some other type of infection that caused the kittens to pass away. Sometimes despite our best efforts of having successful litters so do not make it. I hope she have a successful litter.
