My Morkie is itching intensely around her tail and backside. What's wrong?

I have a two year old morkie and she just recently started itching on and around her backside area she does not have any flee's and when we pet or scratch her on her back or by her tail she can't get enough she start's going nut's, it's like under her skin or something, please help her we can't stand to see her suffer .

She could have an allergy, skin infection, or mites. If she is that itchy than she should be examined by a vet to determine the cause. Your vet can do a skin scrape, cytology, and/or culture, if needed, to help diagnose and then prescribe medications to treat. She may need an antibiotic, anti-histamine, corticosteroid, or other medications, depending on the diagnosis. Hope she feels better soon!
