i have impetigo. is it possible that my cat will get it from me ?

It is not impossible but it is very very unlikely. Usually impetigo is caused by a bacterial infection (staphilococcus and streptococcus pyogenes) so theoretically the infection can be transmitted, but, as far as my knowledge goes, there are no reported cases of this kind.

Because impetigo is caused by a bacterial infection, I would error on the side of causation and wash your hands before interacting with your cats. It is unlikely they will become infected unless they has direct contact with an open lesion. Hwoever, It is better to be caustious not risk anything. Best of luck to you and hope you heal well.
