My cat was attacked by a coyote. What shots does he need at the vet?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 4 lbs

My cat got attacked by a coyote a few months ago, and has a abscess on his tummy, and I think he has a broken rib. He also has a very bad cold. I am taking him to the vet, but I do not know what kind of shots to get him.

You are correct that Shiloh has to see a vet as soon as possible. In terms of shots, I'm not sure if you are talking about vaccines, but he should get rabies, and a combination shot including panleukopenia, calicivirus, and feline herpes. Given that he goes outdoors, I would recommend vaccinating him for FeLV and FIV.
