Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | spayed | 4 months and 1 day old | 25 lbs
Hello, We have a Shepard mix puppy. She is 4 months and weighs roughly 25-30 lbs. We received her from a shelter at 12 weeks. She has had all of her shots and is in good health. Although we have had her treated for ghiardia and roundworm. Stuff she got from the kennel. Now she has developed a spot of no hair on her lips with small scab and a spot on her rib cage with no scab which she scratches at. We treat her for fleas and see none. What could these spots be?

She could have demodex, ringworm, or a skin infection. She needs to be seen by a vet to diagnose. Your vet will need to do a skin scrape, cytology, and/or culture to determine the exact cause and then prescribe medications to treat. It is impossible to know the cause without doing an examination and testing.
