Why is my dog vomiting, pooping black, pale, and so lethargic?

Hes been very healthy for 8 months he has gerd but he has been throwing up uncontrollably unlike gerd the throw up isnt foam its just his food and water today andyesterday he has been pooping black Liquid in the kitchen which ik is blood and his tongue and gums are almost white he sleeps for 12+ hours at a time and has dropped all tje weight he gained he is a skeleton again and is refusing food unless its boiled chicken Im thinking kidney failure ? Hes going to his vet tomorrow morning. Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | neutered

Hi there. I'm sorry to hear that Dexter isn't feeling well. What your describing is concerning. It could be kidney failure, but with the black stool I would suspect something causing his intestines to bleed, or blood loss from somewhere else. If you can get him to the vet tonight I'd recommend that. He needs blood work, x rays and fluids before he gets any worse. I hope that helps and best to you and Dexter.
