Hello, I have an indoor cat that contanstly scratches at his ears at the front, and has left bald patches & cuts on His ears. The last time it happened was last year & when we took him to the vet they said it’s hard to know what’s caused it & gave us steroid cream. Can anyone help? Please

Unfortunately some tests usually need to be run in order to attempt and find the cause of the scratching, the ears need to be inspected properly to rule out an ear infection, fleas also often cause this type of problem, and it could also be an allergy or some other skin parasites.
