My cat opens doors with doorknobs. How can I prevent this behavior?

My cat has figured out how to open a door. I mean by a doorknob. How is he able to do that? How can I keep him from doing it? He also escaped from a latched cage at the vet and was found wandering around the clinic so he is already a known felon

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Too funny! Finn is cute! I recommend purchasing the child safety door guards sold at baby stores or online. They prevent children from opening doors. I’m not sure how he manages but he is amazing! I hope this helps!
