Can I give my dog methocarbamol if he's limping and on heart meds?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Male | unneutered | 18 lbs

I have an 18 lb Dixie who takes vetmedin, enalapril and thyrozine. He is limping today and I have some methocarbamol I would like to give him but I don't think he's taken since he started the heart meds so I don't know if I can give them together. It is after hours so I can't call the vet.

Hi there. There are no reported contraindications to using methocarbamol with vetmedin, enalapril, or thyroxine. They should all be fine when used together. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
