My cat fell. Will her palate injury heal or does she need surgery?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Female | 1 year and 10 months old | 3 lbs

My cat felt from 2storey she got cleft palate,one side is ok other gets leaked...we feed her by pipe but if she drinks by her own then she sneezes and don't know whether her gap of palette going to heal automatically or else needs surgery...plz advice me...she sleeps well but sneeze having liquid diet..she is 1.5yrs old..

Hello, sorry to hear about Lele. That is technically not a cleft palate and more so a fracture of her hard palate. It may heal on its own, however, this should be a recommendation made by your veterinarian after they examine Lele. She may need a CT scan to fully evaluate the extent of the damages within her mouth and head. I would recommend having her evaluated immediately by your veterinarian or a surgery team to determine if Lele needs any surgical procedure to stabilize her injuries.
