My two tr old cat has bad gingivitis. Has always had it sence i got her at 5 months. We had her teeth cleaned and three teeth removed back in July. Her gums where the rest of her teeth are getting worse. She is now drooly. The vet suggested that i may want to test her for Bartonella. Should I see if its Bartonella or realize its feline oral diseas?

There is never any harm in having more information. If your vet recommended the Bartonella testing and you can afford to do it financially then I would say to have it done. If it is Bartonella you may be able to institute some treatment to help. I am assuming she has already been tested for FIV and FeLV? If not then I would suggest you get her tested for those as well. Hope this helps.
