Why do my guinea pigs have eye discharge but no other symptoms?

2 guinea pigs purchased on 11/24, 3 days ago noticed small amounts of discharge coming from eyes of both pigs. No other signs or symptoms of URI, no lethargy, no hair loss. Still have appropriate eating/drinking/activity. Just concerned and looking for further advice. Thank you. Pet's info: Other | Unknown - Other | Female | unspayed | 0 lbs
