Pet's info: Dog | Toy Poodle | Female | unspayed | 6 years and 9 months old | 7 lbs

Hello i would like to know how i can get my dog to be interested in her food. I have had her about 2 years and for a while she broke down and ate hill"s science diet but then i switched her to blue but she is a picky eater...have tried various kibble and wet food but she turns her nose to all of them...is there anything i can do?...she was previously given lots of table scraps so now she begs hard and will hold out until she can't...i am against table scraps so i refuse to give into her begging

For a dog that is used to eating fresh food, it can be a challenge to get them to eat kibble or canned food. One of my dogs is very picky and LOVES The Honest Kitchen products. I currently feed her 1/2 kibble and 1/2 The Honest Kitchen Keen. She has not missed a meal since I started feeding The Honest Kitchen. It is more expensive than kibble, but is very good quality food. Since I see that you are in CA, another option would be Just Food for Dogs. That would be a fresh food diet that is premade. Both companies are excellent, so see if Pepper likes either of those options. Good luck! I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
