Norik ate a raw egg yolk, it was fresh. Now he is throwing up and i see egg yolk in his womit. is it bad to give puppies raw organic egg yolk? Pet's info: Dog | Spitz | Male | unneutered | 6 months and 22 days old | 7 lbs

Hi and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Sorry to hear about Norik. Some puppies and dogs are extremely sensitive to any changes in their diet. Some will tolerate and others will react like this. The AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) does NOT support the use of raw foods for pets. If you want to feed him some eggs or egg yolks, I would lightly cook them and see if he can keep them down. Start with small amounts added to his regular food. Eggs and yolks are great protein and fat sources. Good luck
