Please help my ginger cat has just suddenly stopped eating and drinking we live on a farm. So I am not sure if his eaten a frog or a poisoned bug. He walks around and is active. Last night I syringe some milk and food down his throat

I do not know why he just quit eating. That is not a specific symptom - anything that can cause illness in cat can cause them not to want to eat. That being said, I doubt he ingested a toad or a poison as he would be much more sick (vomiting, diarrhea, non-active). What I can tell you is that feeding milk is not recommended. Cats after weaning from their mother (about 8 weeks of age) do not have the enzymes to process dairy and it can make things worse. I suggest you try feeding tinned tuna, some other type of meat or try some tinned cat food. If he doesn't start eating in about 2 days then I think you need to get him to the vet. Best wishes.
