How to stop my 3-month-old puppy from crying and peeing at night?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkipoo | Female | unspayed | 3 months and 27 days old | 3.4 lbs

My pup is three months old and we've only had her a week. I can't get her to sleep through the night. I've tried tiring her before bed, she pees and poops before bed. I even put a blanket over her cage and say "bed time" but she won't sleep the night. She cries LOUD for hours until I bring her in the bed with me but then she pees or poops on the bed. I don't know what to do anymore.

She is still very young and it will take her some time to learn to sleep through the night. You could try to put her crate next to your bed and see if that helps. You could also try an Adaptil Collar or Diffuser and Solliquin chews. https://www.adaptil.com/us/ http://www.solliquin.com/#page-top
