My hamster is spinning non-stop. What's wrong and what can I do?

I have a hamster we call Spinner because the poor thing cannot stop spinning around. I think it could be neurological because she has learned to stuff her pouches to ground her. She also likes to be in the small critter cup. I hate to see her live her life like this but really can't afford a vet what should I do?

Spinner needs to see a vet. If this is something that can be treated then she may be able to live a normal life. If this is not something that can be treated they can offer humane euthanasia. The whole point is that we don't want her to suffer. I suggest you contact the Humane Society of New York. They have low cost services and will see hamsters. http://www.humanesocietyny.org/about/services.php Hope this helps. Best wishes.
