Why does my puppy have bumps on his bottom? Should I be worried?

What is wrong with my dog if he has what looks like bumps on his bottom why does this mean

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This depends on an examination though these could be benign or malignant growths. Given his young age, this is most likely a benign change and again an examination would help to determine this. This is often differentiated by a test called a fine needle aspirate (FNA) which is a pain free, inexpensive and easy procedure which in most cases will help reach a diagnosis. Sometimes a biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. I am really hoping for something benign.
