Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 2 years and 3 months old | 83 lbs
My dog (a male mix between a springer and a Labrador, aged 2) won’t sleep at night and is running in his crate as he knows this makes a loud noise. He is scared of the wind however it has not been windy for the past few nights and he is still doing it. He won’t sleep without being in his crate as he is unsettled. My family and I aren’t sleeping as a result of his noise. Do you have any suggestions as to what we can do?

Hi there and thank you for using Pet Coach to address your concern. I would recommend using a treat by NaturVet called Quiet Moments calming treats with Melatonin. You can find these online or at your local pet store. I have had great success with using this product in cases such as Charlie's. The Melatonin in the product helps calm dogs and can cause mild sedation in some cases. I would also recommend a white noise machine that plays rain or something so that he cannot hear the wind. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be happy to help you further.
