A bird is trapped inside my house. How can I get it out safely?

I am on a job site and this bird is stuck in a room with a big window. I can't cover the window so how can I help get the bird out of the building with out causing any harm to it?

Does the window open? If so I would open and see if she will fly out. The other option is to throw a towel over her (or sweatshirt etc). This should give you time to scoop her up in the cloth and transport her outside. Thanks for helping her! And thanks for using Pet Coach.
