My cat spit up clear liquid, tongue out. Is it vomit or regurgitation?

Pet's info: Cat | Himalayan | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 18 days old | 6.6 lbs

My kitty did sth weird. She just stood still ,made a strange noise, brought her tongue out & sth came out of her mouth very small amount like human's spit. What is it? Should I be worried

Hi and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Sorry to hear about Noushmc. I would advise taking her to your veterinarian. There is a difference between active vomiting and regurgitation. And they have many different causes. Your vet will have to determine if it's vomiting or regurgitation and work the case up appropriately. Possible tests include fecal/blood/urine tests and x-rays/ultrasound. Once a diagnosis is made a sound treatment plan can be implemented.
