No, per the label instructions cats have to be at least 12 weeks of age. If you are having a flea issue I suggest you use a topical flea medication like Advantage II. This can be used on kittens 8 weeks and older. Do not use the lesser brands like Hartz or Sentry - there have been many reactions to those brands. Hope this helps.

I generally don't recommend using these products on cats, because cats are very sensitive to essential oils, which are the primary ingredients of this product. Additionally, this product is not very effective, so it's really not worth applying to the kitten. There are some (more effective products) that are labeled for kittens at the pet store, or your vet. I recommend only using a product that is prescribed by your vet to ensure it's safe and effective. I hope that helps and all is well with Boots.

Advantage is safe for kittens 8 weeks and older. Be sure that the product do you get is labeled for kittens eight weeks old as many topical spot on products can be toxic to cats. You can use a flea comb which is a very fine toothed comb to comb her fur and check for fleas or "flea dirt" the reddish brown feces from fleas. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
