Pet's info: Dog | Airedale Terrier | Female | spayed | 6 years and 9 months old | 12 lbs
I have a long-haired Chihuahua about 7 years old she is constantly scratching at herself we have tried every flea product there is we bathe her we have let her hair grow out longer and she seems to be itching more we also have another brown lab and he is itching he has older he's probably about 13 years old and he just keeps scratching till he's got hair loss thank you

I would be concerned about mites if both of your dogs are scratching a lot. Especially with the hairless on the legs it is suggestive of mites. I recommend taking them to the veterinarian and having them looked at. There is medication that can be given to help if it is mites. Your veterinarian can perform a skin scraping to help look for them also. Although they may not find the mites on skin scrape they may still treat for it. Otherwise I would talk to your veterinarian about allergies. This seems less likely since both of them are being affected. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

I'm only guessing based on the pictures you have provided but this looks like a severe case of sarcoptic mange. If that's indeed what he has he needs appropriate drugs to kill the mites that have burrowed into his skin and are causing this intense inflammation, infection, and hair loss. You can sometimes purchase these medications over the counter but I can't say for sure as I don't know where you are located. I would consult a vet in your area immediately.
