My new puppy's breed is a mystery. How do I care for him properly?

Hi, I recently got my puppy from a breeder, but she was very unsure about him. She didn't have any paperwork on him, I'm not even sure if she was a breeder! This makes me really nervous and very sad, I think I might possibly report her. She said he's a maltese but he doesn't look anything like my maltese. Please help. I'm going to raise him no matter what breed he is, because this poor little guy needs all the love he can get. Please help me, what breed do you think he is? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 30 days old | 8 lbs

There unlikely anything you can do to the person you got the dog from at this point. As far as your new pet.. congrats. Without paperwork it is best to get him to a vet to have him dewormer and start his vaccines to protect him. He will likely need a hair cut and grooming appointment soon with all that hair. He does look to have Maltese but may have poodle or yorkie also. There is no way to be sure
