Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 1 year and 6 months old | 12 lbs
I have 3 cats and I got a new kitten. (all neutered ) They get along very well with him but my oldest cat Bubba stopped using the litter box. He doesn't go outside the litter box, he just try and hold it back. I got him vet checked in case he was sick but there was nothing physically wrong with him. Otherwise he eats , plays and sleeps with the new one. I have 5 litter boxes for 4 of them at all different areas of the house . Cleaning them everyday so it cannot be hygienic issues. Any solutions?

Where are the litter boxes located? Can you create a safe space for Bubba by putting a secluded litter box in an area just for him. Good job on the number of litter boxes, that’s perfect. I would experiment with a new location. And try feliway a pheromone spray or defused to help him feel secure.
