My 8-year-old Great Dane has seizures. Are they cyclical and serious?

Pet's info: Dog | Great Dane | Male | neutered | 7 years and 10 months old | 160 lbs

My Great Dane is 8 years old very active and healthy and has had 3 seizures around every 27-30 days. Does it always cycle ? And will he continue to live or more an likely to die?

At that age any time seizures start there is a concern it is a brain lesion such as a tumor. SeIure typically are not predictable and do not cycle unless there is an outside cause such as a medicine or something happening each time to trigger it. you can keep a log to track this to see if there is a pattern. If not you should see vet to see if there is a cause and what treatment options you have available. Some respond well with medicine but a prolonged seizure can cause brain damage
