My dog has bumps and scabs on his back. What's causing them?

Hi, i have a a chihuahua mix with wiener dog and he seems to have bumps growing all over his back. When i move back his fur they all seem to have little scabs or dried up blood. Hes had them before and they went away on their own but it seems to be worse this time around. Do you have any idea what it might be? Thank you. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 11 months and 25 days old | 8 lbs

This is probably an allergic reaction due to an insect bite or a plant outside. those reactions tend to resolve within 48 hours without treatment. if the swelling becomes too large or if your dog is lethargic, take her to the vet in order to get an antihistamine injection.
