How to get my dog to accept a new dog in our home without fighting?

How do I get my 1 y/o dog to accept a new older dog in her house. She was fine outside but got barking and growling when we came inside. A relative is staying with us for a few months. Her dog is a little smaller then our dog. Thanks. Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Female | spayed | 1 year old | 45 lbs

If there is a neutral place in the house that way there is no territory problems it would be best. You can keep them both on leashes to control the situation. make sure all food and beddings are separate also. Once they get used to living together and no one fees jealous then they will be fine
