What should I expect from 2 pregnant dogs that have very close due dates? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 10 months old | 85 lbs

Hi there and thanks for posting! If your two pregnant dogs have close due dates, then I would prepare for them both giving birth on the same day or within a few days of each other. I would be sure someone is home around the week of their due dates in case there is a problem during delivery. Having a few extra hands to help out with lots of puppies would be good idea! Getting your veterinarian's office phone number and after hours number in case there is a problem would be recommended as well. They may find their own unique places to deliver, but I would recommend having a whelping box you can purchase or make yourself for each of them to find refuge in during their delivery.
