Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Male | unneutered | 5 years and 4 months old | 10 lbs
Does dog's teeth grow back like humans baby teeth to adult teeth? I am asking because my dog is about 5 years old (human years) and he is a Pomeranian. his teeth has brown stuff on it, which i am assuming it is build up food. I have been trying to keep up with his teeth brushing, but at them moment he is living with family and they have not kept up with it in my absence. It looks like he has lost some teeth and I he has not been to get his teeth clean. Do you have any advice of what i can use?

They generally lose their baby teeth around 6-8 months of age. At his age, he is too old to get new teeth in if they fall out. It is not uncommon for that breed to have dental disease which can cause plaque and tartar build up and infections in the gums that can lead to teeth falling out. Brushing his teeth will only prevent new build up, it won't get rid of anything old at this point. he will need to see a vet to have a teeth cleaning performed where they can scale and polish the teeth then pull any others that are needed and provide antibiotics to get you a fresh strat
