My dog has lymphoma and is on prednisone. Why is he so agitated?

My dog was diagnosed with lymphoma five weeks ago, decided on prednisone alone. He’s constantly unsettled, barking, moaning also he’s gone from a gentle giant to an absolute nightmare. We are not sure if it’s the lymphoma taking over or the steroids. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 81 lbs

Steroids usually makes a dog more lethargic rather than anything else, so i do believe it is the lymphoma causing all these symptoms unfortunately, it might also be a sign that the prednisone is not working.
