Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 4 months old | 3.5 lbs
I have a 16 month old male rabbit. I read online that if you don't neuter your rabbit then he will have some health issues and will not live as long. I am having friends in neutering him because I do not want him to be stressed and I don't want him to be in pain, plus, it is very expensive to neuter a rabbit where I live. Will he have some health complications if I do not neuter him? And will he live longer if I do so?

My recommendation is to have him neutered. Neutered rabbits live longer and have less health issues overall. You will have less behavioral problems with him too if he is neutered. Here is a link to an article that may help you and answer more of your questions. http://rabbit.org/faq-spaying-and-neutering/ Hope this helps. Best wishes.
