Can dog worms be transmitted from a person's clothes to a puppy? Thank you.

Yes, theoretically if eggs or the segments of certain types of worms are present in a persons clothes and the puppy ingests those eggs or segments, the puppy can get infected. However, this would require feces, or at least direct contact, from the anus of the infected dog to be in contact with the person. This would also have to be at the exact time that the eggs are being shed. Because these parasites don’t survive very long outside of their host, the puppy would have to ingest them directly from the person within a relatively short period of time.
