Why is my cat with kidney disease peeing yellow circles on my bed now?

Hi, my cat has left yellow circles i Think it's urine on my bed, he is already on medication for chronic renal disease, his urine was very abundant, and used to left brown circles on my bed, now the quantity is normal but yesterday there appeared those circles, so I don't know what it might be

It sounds like Maxi may be having some incontinence issues. Especially if these puddles of urine are left behind after he is sleeping on the bed. However if he is actively urinating and squating on the bed, then he is just spraying, which could be an caused by stress, usually from an underlying illness that isn’t being managed well. In Maxi’s case his kidney disease may need to be re-evaluated. I would even suggest getting his blood pressure checked because high blood pressure can stress out cats. I would recommend starting by getting his urine checked by your vet again to ensure there is no active urinary tract infection or crystals seen in his urine. Urinary incontinence isn’t very common in cats, so there likely is an underlying condition causing this (ie UTI, bladder stones, stress). Once we know the cause then the appropriate treatment can be implemented to help stop this behavior. I hope this helps and that Maxi gets well soon. Best wishes and take care.
